Almanac is a journal designed to be kept for a lifetime: private by construction, quick to open, and stored in formats that will still be readable long after any app — including ours — has changed.
The standard
These commitments apply to every product we ship. They're written down so you can hold us to them.
We collect the minimum each app needs to work, keep it encrypted, and never share it for advertising or profit. Where an app can work entirely on your device, it does.
Every app has a single plan and a free trial. No tiers engineered to push you upward, no dark patterns at cancellation, and notice before any price change.
We design for the decade, not the quarter: plain formats, quiet defaults, and a promise of at least a year’s notice and a full export if a product is ever retired.
We would rather ship fewer things and finish them. A feature earns its place by making the core job better — not by filling a roadmap.
